The studio
A studio of storytellers.
Before we design anything, we learn your story the way a novelist learns a character: what you care about, who you are for, and why it matters.
I'm Simon Rook. I spent more than fifteen years as a behavioral scientist and research operations lead, studying how people decide, trust and act. I hold an MS in Applied Psychology, and I served in the Marine Corps before any of it.
I am curious about why one business feels like it was made for you and another one doesn't. The answer is almost always the story: whether it is clear, whether it is true, and whether it reaches the people it was meant for. That is the work of this studio.

Listen first
We start with a conversation about you, not about templates. The best lines on your site usually come from something you said without thinking.
Keep your voice
We shape and sharpen your words; we never swap them for generic ones. If it doesn't sound like you, it doesn't ship.
Design for real people
We use behavioral science to design for how visitors actually read, decide and trust, so your story is easy to follow all the way to "let's talk."
Why we exist
Your story should sound like you.
More of the internet sounds the same each month, because more of it is written by machines. Your work did not come from a prompt. It came from a life, a craft, and a reason you keep showing up. Those details are what make the right person stop and say, "this is who I was looking for."
We sit with you, listen for those details, and build a website around them. The tools we build with are modern and fast; the listening, the story and the voice stay human, and they stay yours.
The words on your site should be ones you would say out loud.
Start your story
Thirty minutes, no pitch.
A story call is a conversation about your work, your people and where you want to go. You'll leave with a clearer sense of your own story, whether or not we work together.
