Vision to StoryDesign

Web design studio · Dallas, Texas

Every vision has a story.

For the counselor, the coach, the artist with a chair and a waiting list: the ones whose best work happens face to face. You're already doing transformational work; we build the website that helps your people find you.

Why we exist

Your story should sound like you.

More of the internet sounds the same each month, because more of it is written by machines. Your work did not come from a prompt. It came from a life, a craft, and a reason you keep showing up. Those details are what make the right person stop and say, "this is who I was looking for."

We sit with you, listen for those details, and build a website around them. The tools we build with are modern and fast; the listening, the story and the voice stay human, and they stay yours.

The words on your site should be ones you would say out loud.

The studio

A studio of storytellers.

Before we design anything, we learn your story the way a novelist learns a character: what you care about, who you are for, and why it matters.

I'm Simon Rook. I spent more than fifteen years as a behavioral scientist and research operations lead, studying how people decide, trust and act. I hold an MS in Applied Psychology, and I served in the Marine Corps before any of it.

I am curious about why one business feels like it was made for you and another one doesn't. The answer is almost always the story: whether it is clear, whether it is true, and whether it reaches the people it was meant for. That is the work of this studio.

Listen first

We start with a conversation about you, not about templates. The best lines on your site usually come from something you said without thinking.

Keep your voice

We shape and sharpen your words; we never swap them for generic ones. If it doesn't sound like you, it doesn't ship.

Design for real people

We use behavioral science to design for how visitors actually read, decide and trust, so your story is easy to follow all the way to "let's talk."

How we work

From vision to story, in five chapters.

Projects follow the same arc, so you always know which chapter we are in, what we need from you, and what comes next.

  1. Chapter 1

    Listen

A discovery conversation about your vision, your work and the people you want to reach. You bring: your story, as messy as it is.

  2. Chapter 2

    Find the thread

We turn that conversation into a short story brief: who your people are, what they need to hear, and the one idea your site has to carry. You bring: a yes, or a "not quite."

  3. Chapter 3

    Draft

Words and design come together, so the story leads and the visuals support it. You review on a private preview link. You bring: feedback and your best photos.

  4. Chapter 4

    Tell

Launch on your own domain, with search setup, fast loading and a simple guide to editing your site. You bring: a final approval.

  5. Chapter 5

    Keep telling

Stories grow. A care plan keeps your site current, secure and ready for the next chapter of your work. You bring: what's new.

Carlos Maldonado · Tattoo artist · Tulsa, Oklahoma

"Let me make your story into legend."

Carlos turns his clients' stories into mythology on skin. We are building his site as a museum of myths: each piece displayed like an artifact, grouped into four collections named for the stories they tell, with a page for his upcoming book and his mural work.

Questions

Good questions to ask any studio.

Do you use AI?

We use modern software, including AI-assisted coding tools, to build sites quickly and keep costs down. We do not use AI to invent your story or speak for you. The listening, the story and the final words are human, and they are yours.

Who owns the website?

You do. Your domain and hosting accounts are in your name from day one, and the finished site is yours once the project is paid in full.

What will you need from me?

A conversation, honest answers about your work and your people, and your best photos. If you don't have strong photos yet, we can arrange a professional shoot.

How long does a project take?

From two weeks for an Essential site to about eight weeks for a Brand Launch. The biggest factor is usually how quickly content and feedback move, so we agree on dates together at the start.

Do you work with clients outside Dallas?

Yes. The studio is based in Dallas, and any project can run remotely by video and a shared preview link.

How do payments work?

Projects under $3,000 are split 50% to begin and 50% at launch. Larger projects are paid in three milestones. Your site goes live once the final payment is in.
